Bumi berputar pada porosnya, bulan berputar mengelilingi matahari dan bumi, serta planet-planet lain semuanya berputar mengelilingi matahari. Walau perhitungannya belum terlalu tepat, mengenai skala peredaran planet mengelilingi matahari, tetapi ia telah mematahkan paradigma "Geosentris" (Pemahaman klasik yang beranggapan bahwa bumi adalah pusat tata surya) dengan paradigma "Heliosentris"(Pemahaman tentang matahari sebagai pusat tata surya). Teori Copernicus telah merubah konsep kita tentang angkasa luar dan sekaligus merombak pandangan filosofis umat manusia.

Altough the calculation is not quite exact in surrounding sun planets rotate scale, it has broken the geocentric paradigm (classic comprehension that says the earth is the center of solar system) with heliocentric paradigm (the comprehension that says the sun is the center of solar system). The theory has changed our concept about space and also has changed the human race philosophy view point.
